I love the look of the garmins, they’d be great for my lady-like approach to directions and maps in general. I need sat navs that swear. “Turn left in 100 metres. I said 100 metres, was that 100 metres? Open your fuckin’ ears jackass”.

With not being a commuter, I don’t think I could justify the £400 odd quid I’d need to buy one.

Crimm: Battery life is shite but there is an iphone charger for the bike out there in the wilderness, which would make it much much better than the Edge 705!

Apps like those on the iphone are great. Although i don’t have said phone my sony is really good for apps online: i’ve updated my blog via this phone. Most of my comments on yours, Gaz, Rafe and Joby’s blogs are done from the phone. Just wish i could sort the comments out on my own blog from here. Alas i can’t.

I bought that app last week so I cans update vinceval site with random images. Setup was sweet. Now got to think of something to blog about.

In theory you can use it as a sat nav, and there are some apps for speeds/altitude etc. But the battery life of the iPhone renders them mostly pointless. Unless you had some form of solar charging/dynamo.

I’m soo far behind with technology these days and thought my cheapo £30 phone would do me. The world moves at such a pace and I cant keep up Can u use the i[hone like a garmin, ie sat nav and speeds?

Congrats. The WordPress tool is awesome – is this the same one or is it better? (I hate not being able to comment or add custom fields from the wordpress one)
